This site is a little corner of the internet where I’ll be sharing my mixed media artwork, creative experiments, and the inspiration that fuels my art practice. For a long time, I’ve wanted a place where I could bring all of those pieces together - not just finished artwork, but the ideas, processes, and discoveries that happen along the way.
Mixed media art has always felt a bit like magic to me. It’s the freedom to combine materials, textures, colors, and unexpected elements into something completely new. Sometimes it’s paint layered over paper, sometimes resin over acrylic, sometimes collage over watercolor... sometimes it’s something entirely different that I haven’t even discovered yet.
That sense of exploration is a big part of why I love creating.
Art doesn’t always start with a clear plan. Often it begins with curiosity... a new color combination, a texture that catches my eye, or a material that sparks an idea. From there, the process becomes a conversation between intuition and experimentation. Some pieces come together easily, while others evolve through many layers, changes, and happy accidents.
Both are part of the journey.
One of the things I love most about mixed media is that there are no rules. Each piece is a little adventure. A layer of watercolor might lead to ink details, which might inspire collage, which might end with resin or texture paste. Every step adds something unexpected.
Through this blog, I’m excited to share that journey with you.
You’ll find posts here about:
• new artwork and finished pieces
• experiments with materials and techniques
• behind-the-scenes glimpses of the creative process
• ideas and inspiration that influence my work
• projects I’m currently exploring
Sometimes the posts will be about a finished piece, but other times they may just be about the process itself - the experimenting, learning, and creative play that happens before a piece is "complete."
Creativity isn’t always linear.
This site will also be a place where I share links to my Etsy shop and my published book, along with other projects as they come to life. Many of the things I create begin as experiments in the studio and slowly grow into finished works, products, or ideas worth sharing.
If you enjoy colorful art, layered textures, and creative exploration, I hope this space feels inspiring and welcoming.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting my work. It means a lot to be able to share this creative journey.
More artwork, experiments, and ideas are coming soon.
